Growing up, I struggled to find my voice. I wasn’t the loudest or the most naturally confident kid in school. But thanks to a youth minister and my football coaches, I learned how to lead with influence and get real results.
By the time I graduated, I felt like I had leadership figured out. Then, I became an officer in the United States Marine Corps.
And that’s when everything changed.
This wasn’t sports. This was life and death.
Suddenly, I found myself experiencing feelings I had never felt before—doubt, hesitation, even fear. My mind raced with questions I had never asked:
